Find Pan By Crate or SeriesYou can use one of the following selectors to choose the pan. Using the crate model selector, find you crate, e.g. iCrate 1536DD in the list to go straight to the correct pan. The crate series selector takes you to all the pans available for a crate series, such as Life Stages. 
Crate SizeIf you are still not sure of the crate size, you can find out Midwest Crate you have by measuring the length of the crate. Replacement pans fit crates of sizes 18, 22, 24, 30, 36, 42, and 54". Simply measure the crate from front to back (the long side) and this will tell you which crate you have. The trays vary by crate model, so it is important that you know the Midwest Crate Series. For the 24" Folding Crates, the height of the crate is critically important and will determine which pan you need. About Midwest PansMidwest has changed the formulation of the pans on several occasions. Older trays can either be thicker and more brittle, or thinner and manufactured using a vacuum-formed process. The later generation pans have a matte finish and, in our opinion, are considerably stronger than some of the previous models. If your crate is more than a year old, it is likely that the replacement pan will be somewhat different from the one you have now. These pans are authentic Midwest pans - they are just redesigned to last longer than the old formulation. Please take care to order the correct size. They are designed to be tough, but also comfortable. If you have a particularly lively dog, or an aggressive chewer it is possible that your dog could damage the pan. To increase the life of your pan, please consider placing some cushioning between the pan and the wire crate, such as cardboard or a piece of padded fabric. |
