iCrate Buyers Guide

Since all of our iCrates come with a Free Divider Panel, which allows you to adjust the crate to suit your growing dog, we recommend that you purchase your iCrate for the size of your adult dog.

How to Identify Your iCrate Model

The smallest crate is 18" long, and the crates get longer (normally) in 6" increments. (The length is always the longer horizontal dimension.) The last two numbers in the name of the crate are the length of the crate.

The iCrate series is called the “1500 Series”. A 36" iCrate is an I-1536. This would be a 36" long Single Door iCrate. If there is a “DD” on the end, this means it is a “Double Door” configuration. In this case, the crate would be an I-1536DD.

The table is a general size guide based on the weight of the dog.

This crate is sturdy and durable when erected, but folds easily without tools. So, How Do I Fold It? The folding sequence is very simple, in fact it is easier for you to do than to talk about!.

Assemble: There are clips that hold the crate together to allow it to be carried. Unlip these clips, lift up the top, fold out the front and back panels and clip them in place. Fold: To fold your iCrate, unclip the front and back, fold in, collapse down and clip together. Carry: Handles are supplied that allow your crate to be easily carried.

Includes FREE Divider Panel

All models of iCrate include a Free Divider Panel which installs without tools and allows you to adjust the size of the living area as your puppy grows. Dogs like to keep their sleeping area clean, however when the dog is a puppy, not only do they have an increased chance of eliminating in their crate, but because of their small size, they may eliminate in one corner of the crate and have enough room to sleep at the other end.

The divider panel reduces the size of the iCrate while your dog is growing, and this helps with crate training.
