Efficient - The HHF-1 Hound Heater will effectively heat a 32 cubic feet well-insulated dog house, but works perfectly in any smaller size because it regulates the heat of the dog house. Powered by a long-lasting, easily replaceable 150 watt wire element rated at 50,000 hours, the HHF-1 includes a heavy-duty thermostat and will turn off once the space has reached the set temperature (which can be anywhere between 30 and 100 degrees F). This is more energy-efficient and safer than models which stay on all the time. Drawing only 1.25 amps, it can safely be powered through any outdoor-rated extension cord.

Safe- Equipped with several safety features, the HHF-1 will keep your dog comfy, but give you peace of mind, too. It includes a heat shield which mounts above the unit to disperse heat, protect the ceiling of the house from excessive heat and help keep debris from entering the unit. An internal heat shield cools the exterior of the unit so your dog can lay against the lower half without being burned, as long as safe installation procedures are followed. The HHF-1 is designed without any exposed sharp corners, keeping your dog safe from cuts or scrapes. It is designed to be mounted so your pet does not have access to chew the power cord. In case of improper mounting or damage it includes an internal high limit switch, which will shut down the unit if it reaches 210 F.

Easy to Install- It only takes minutes to install the HHF-1 Hound Heater in your dog house or other pet home. The unit comes complete with easy-to-understand instructions and a template for locating the unit on the wall. Simply drill a hole for the power cord, mount the heater on the wall with four screws and the external heat shield with two screws. Set the thermostat, plug it in and you're finished!
